Delete Your WEPOC Account & Data
If you no longer wish to use WEPOC, you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data using the form below.
How to Request Deletion

Submit the form on this page with the email address currently linked to your WEPOC account.

Identity verification: We will email you within 5 business days to confirm the request and verify your identity (you must reply from the same registered email or complete any additional verification we outline).

Processing: Once verified, we will permanently delete eligible data within 30 days and send you a confirmation email when the process is complete.

If you do not complete verification within 14 days, the request will be closed and you may submit a new one at any time.
Data That Will Be Deleted
After successful verification we delete:

Account profile (name, username / handle, avatar)
-
Email address and login identifiers
-
Authentication tokens & active sessions
-
User‑generated social posts (text, media) not reused by others

Direct messages you originated (they become anonymized or removed where feasible)
-
Follows / “Tap In” relationships you initiated
-
Community membership records
-
Saved preferences & personalization settings
-
App usage logs (anonymized aggregates are retained—see below)
Data We May Retain (and Why)
Some data is retained for limited, legitimate purposes:

Transactional / security logs (IP, device, timestamps) kept up to 90 days for fraud prevention, security investigations, and abuse detection, then either deleted or fully anonymized.

Financial / purchase records (if any paid subscriptions or payouts) retained for up to 7 years as required by tax, accounting, or legal obligations.

Content that others still rely on (e.g., another user’s message thread continuity) may be anonymized rather than fully removed.

Aggregated or anonymized analytics (non‑identifiable) are kept indefinitely for product improvement.
Data Not Deleted Automatically

Backups: Encrypted system backups that contain your data will age out and be overwritten within 30 days (standard backup rotation). We do not use backups to re‑activate deleted accounts.

Third‑party services you authorized separately (e.g., external sign‑in providers) must be managed through those services directly.
Cancel or Inquire
If you change your mind before completion, reply to the verification email to cancel.

Important
Submitting this request will permanently disable your WEPOC account once processing is complete. You will lose access to all associated content and cannot recover it afterward.
